outbound prospecting

Strategy and Approach

What Sets YOU Apart

Have you considered engaging an outbound prospecting solution for business development. A part-time, seasoned engagement is affordable and provides awareness and opportunity.

Strategy and Approach

I want to be involved in developing strategy for your outreach. I can advise on what works and what doesn’t. Be unique, be focused and don’t try to be everything to everyone.

My approach?

I typically don’t promote capabilities (doesn’t everyone else do that?), I prefer initiatives that offer a value-proposition to the recipient. As an example, perhaps proprietary data specific to an industry, POV on a target audience, or an assessment of a brand’s effort. And of course, replacing a lost brand with a fabulous case study works quite well.

Your offer should benefit the recipient – and then ultimately you. Play in your wheelhouse, play to your strengths and be very well-focused on your audience.

Meet

Ginny Rosen

I grew up in the agency business. I did new business development for my firm and our messaging was … “we don’t want to be your AOR” (Agency of Record). That caught the attention of many.

Outbound Prospecting Process:

I present as part of your team. Your Business Strategist or like title.

Campaign:

A campaign is “our” offering. What are we sharing with the prospect? I can concentrate on one campaign or shuffle multiple campaigns.

Perhaps you want to replace lost business, or you have expertise with a specific audience, discipline or industry. Focus on your strengths and differentiate yourself.

Prospect List:

I do not offer lists and do utilize a CRM. I require the list to be accurate and updated. I will always supplement your prospect list as I discover appropriate individuals during my outreach.

How many prospects do you need?

For a 5-hour per week engagement, I typically communicate with 50-70 prospects per week. Those 50-70 are engaged with for 3 weeks. For a 6-month engagement you will need at least 450-600 prospects.

Phone calls and emails.

I leave upbeat, friendly and informative short voice messages. Phone scripts are equally important. I believe 3 emails, one per week is appropriate and if no one has responded after that, then you move on.

Consider adopting an auto-marketing program to continue engagement with prospects. Stay top-of-mind with clever and newsworthy content.

Engagement Details

Contract:

I will contract for 5 hours per week minimum and up to 10 hours per week. A 6-month contract is required, and I bill the first of every month, to be paid in 30-days.

New Business Success

I have had terrific success for my clients and of course, can provide referrals. Our success will be dependent on you. How well-focused can you be with your campaign offering. What is the value proposition to the recipient? How good is your list? And how well do you present?

Consulting and Training

I am open to a consulting arrangement to help direct strategy, collateral and perhaps guide your team to better engagement skills. This is very customized to your specific needs, so let’s talk.
